To New Beginnings

“I like beginnings because they’re so full of promise. The first page of a book, the first day of a job, the first time you buy yourself flowers, the first date with a new man, the first touch, the first kiss, the first kick of a good liquor, the first moment you hold your own baby. I like beginnings because I know there’s always more to come.”
— Shyma Perera, Bitter Sweet Symphony

Hello dear readers

I know it's Reblog Wednesday but hey! It's New Year! Wish you a very happy and prosperous new year. Start something, anything new this year in the first week. It doesn't mean those great resolutions you made (or make). Start something permanent--take up a new job, clean your room, make a baby, make others happy, write letters to your loved ones and email it without fail, meet someone new, make new friendships, pursue your dreams--just do it!

The way my past two new years have been, I realize how important it is to do this. When I began 2012, I began a new job (from 1st Jan that year). I started the year on a new (and positive) note. Alhamdulillah, that entire year went on that note. Coincidence? I don't think so. When I began 2013, I began it on new note. In fact, I began with submitting a resignation at my office. No matter what the positive takeaways I have from 2013, I know the amount of negativity I dealt.

We don't realize how these little things subconsciously affect our every day lives. So, go ahead and look up. New things are waiting to happen!

Here's me sending out lots of love and kisses for you! Mmmuuah!
2014 is your year!
